I had the privilege of signing the Lake Clark NP Guest Book which is just as old as I am and only about 3/4 of the way full. That gives you some idea of how remote this National Park is compared to the rest. What a beautiful experience this last month has been. I’ve seen/experienced things that only a few people have ever done. I’m honored to have been a part of the construction of the park’s very first trail. Perhaps I’ll come back again some day just to wander through this untouched world. There’s a reason Alaska is the last frontier, and Lake Clark is just a small part of that reason.
